I had to create a modular typeface and a poster for Playing with Food. I decided to use rice as my modular unit since It is the most important food group to me.
I had to experiment with the unit to make the type as legible as possible. A single unit was too thin and double the units were too thick. I ended up with a mix of both and left the inside empty for a unique effect.
